SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

Ovaj rad ispituje zastupljenost i upotrebu reči sa Liste akademskih reči (LAR) (engl. Academic Word List – AWL) u pisanju apstrakata na engleskom jeziku kod studenata master studija Poljoprivrednog fakulteta u Beogradu. Novina koju do- nosi ovo istraživanje je usredsređivanje na akademski vokabular u pisanju iz oblasti poljoprivrede i apstrakte kao tip zadatka. Jedan od ciljeva je ispitivanje korelacije između upotrebe akademskih termina i predznanja engleskog jezika, a drugi identifi- kacija najzastupljenijih porodica reči sa LAR. U korpusu koji čine apstrakti izraču- nata je zastupljenost svih porodica reči sa LAR, broj tokena i njihova relativna uče- stalost. Nije pronađena korelacija između predznanja engleskog jezika i zastupljenosti ispitivanih reči u pisanju. Zastupljenost porodica reči sa liste je bila ograničena, a analiza značenja i kolokacija 10 najučestalijih porodica ukazuje na njihovu specifič- nu upotrebu. Ovakvi nalazi ukazuju na limitiranu upotrebu opštih listi akademskih reči i sugerišu kreiranje specifične liste namenjene nastavi iz pisanja za oblast poljoprivrede.
