SAŽETAK /ABSTRACT:
Integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and neuroscience principles within Learning Management Systems (LMS) represents a shift toward more adaptive, learner-centered educational environments. Research in neuroeducation demonstrates that learning is shaped by mechanisms such as neuroplasticity, cognitive load regulation, and memory consolidation, which can inform the design of more effective instructional systems. AI educational technologies have shown potential to enhance learning processes through personalization, adaptive feedback, and data-informed decision-making, enabling alignment between instructional delivery and individual learner needs. This paper explores how combining AI and neuroscience principles can be integrated within LMS platforms to support improved learning outcomes and greater student engagement. AI-enabled systems can adjust content, pacing, and assessment based on learner behavior, while neuroscience-informed design can optimize cognitive processing by managing cognitive load and reinforcing knowledge retention. This work examines how these technologies may lead to more active forms of learning. At the same time, it acknowledges ongoing challenges, including ethical considerations, data privacy, and the need for pedagogically grounded implementation. By synthesizing current research and emerging practices, this study aims to outline a framework for integrating AI and neuroeducation principles into LMS design to support more effective, personalized, and cognitively aligned learning experiences
