EFFECT OF MECHANICAL ACTIVATION ON PROCESSING OF CoPd/TiO2 CATALYST PRECURSORS FOR CO HYDROGENATION

ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:

Precursors of (10%Co+0.5%Pd)/TiO2 catalysts with application in CO hydrogenation obtained by impregnation were activated by high-energy ball milling. Activated precursors showed partial decomposition of supported nitrate salts during the milling, facilitation of the following complete decomposition of the residual amount of salts, and decrease in decomposition and reduction temperatures. The mechanical activation shortened the procedure about driven the systems to their active state.
