ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
In this study, the regeneration of activated carbon used for the adsorption of the organophosphate pesticide chlorpyrifos was performed using aqueous solutions of synthesized ionic liquids based on the salicylate anion. The regeneration efficiency was influenced by various factors, including the concentration of the ionic liquid, temperature, mixing method and addition of salts. Optimal conditions achieved 60% adsorbent regeneration in one cycle. This approach offered a more efficient, environmentally friendly and biocompatible alternative to conventional adsorbent regeneration techniques, highlighting its potential for applications in waste management.
