ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:

Plastika lako dolazi u životnu sredinu kroz otpadne vode, ulazi u lanac ishrane i stiže do organizma. Problem predstavljaju delovi veličine do 5mm (mikroplastika). U radu su predstavljeni objavljeni dokazi o prisustvu mikroplastike u česmovači, flaširanoj vodi i na ulazu i izlazu pogona za prečišćavanje vode za piće; o putevima kojim mikroplastika stiže do tih odredišta; o uticaju mikroplastike na ljude preko vode za piće; i predlozi pravaca istraživanja i pristupa rešavanju problema.
