ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:
The physicist Louis de Broglie (Louis Victor Pierre Raymond, 7th Duc de Broglie) conducted revolutionary research in the field of quantum mechanics. In his doctoral thesis (1924), he pointed out the dual nature of matter, and for that discovery he received the Nobel Prize in Physics (1929).
