ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
The nanomaterial with perovskite structure of the formula Ca0.9Er0.1MnO3 was synthesized by the sucrose-nitrite process (SNP). In this synthesis process, nitrate salts were combined in the appropriate stoichiometric ratio, and sucrose C12H22O11 was used as fuel. The obtained nanopowder was annealed at temperatures of 800, 900 and 1000 ⁰C. The obtained nanostructured powders were characterized by XRD. The catalytic reduction of Methylene blue dye (MB) in the presence of perovskite Ca0.9Er0.1MnO3 was studied by UV/Vis spectrophotometry. Electrochemical properties of the studied material were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) at the Ca0.9Er0.1MnO3 modified carbon paste electrodes (CPEs) in [Fe(CN)6]3-/4- redox system. CV profiles and EIS measurements confirm better electrochemical activity of perovskite Ca0.9Er0.1MnO3 modified CPE over bare CPE, which makes them a promising material for further application as an electrochemical sensor.
