ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
This study examines the diminishing Jahn-Teller effect on the cathode material ZnCr0.15Mn1.85O4 and its capacity increase when adding 1M Mn(NO3)2 in an aqueous solution of ZnCl2. Following the addition of the 1M Mn(NO3)2, the capacity increased from ~2 mAh g-1 to ~14 mAh g-1 at a polarization rate of 5mV s-1. The addition of Mn(NO3)2 effects the balance of Mn3+ and Mn4+, which diminishes the Jahn Teller effect, thus increasing the capacity of ZnCr0.15Mn1.85O4.
