ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:
This study aimed to investigate the effect of iron doping on the electrochemical performance of a cobalt oxide catalyst supported on aluminum-pillared clay (Co/AP) in the glucose oxidation reaction. For this purpose, Co/AP and Fe-doped Co/AP were synthesized. The results of the kinetic study, physicochemical, and electrochemical characterizations were correlated. The results indicated that the introduction of Fe as a dopant could be a promising strategy to enhance the efficiency of Co/AP for glucose oxidation reaction.
