ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:
Screen-printed electrodes are easily fabricated and exhibit high-performance results when employed as electrochemical sensors. The major drawback of these electrodes is that the conducting layer is not an integral part of the electrode. Composite polymer/carbon electrodes are investigated with the aim to overcome this problem. Flexible composite electrodes were prepared from poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and carbon black (CB). The investigation of the electrode by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy showed significant influence of PVA-CB ratio on their electrochemical activity.
