SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

Globalni nedostatak energije u svim oblastima korišćenja kao i način njene proizvodnje koji ugrožava životnu sredinu, uslovljavaju nas da preuzmemo smanjenje njene proizvodnje i efikasno korišćenje. Ovo možemo ostvariti primenom odgovarajućih mera energetske efikasnosti kojima ćemo postići održivost i zdravu životnu sredinu, a samim tim siguran i bezbedan život. Mere energetske efikasnosti u sistemu javnog osvetljenja predstavljaju skup aktivnosti koje se preduzimaju kako bi se  poboljšao kvalitet javnog osvetljenja, smanjila potrošnja električne energije i troškovi njegovog korišćenja.
