САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

In the introduction will be discussed the reasons for abandoning the use of SF6 gas in power equipment, due to the desire to reduce the emission of harmful gases. Additionally, some of the circuit breaker (CB) solutions for different voltages will be presented, which represent an alternative to CB where SF6 gas is used as an insulating agent. Also, some insulating gas mixtures, based on F and N (fluorine and nitrogen), which represent an adequate replacement for SF6 gas, will be listed. Then, examples of developed and tested CB will be presented, as well as some conceptual solutions. There will also be an overview of CB solutions that can potentially be implemented in practice, as well as some solutions that are already in operation and are intended for indicated voltages up to and including 420 kV. The aim of this paper is to gain insight into the expected changes in the market of new HV equipment caused by the ban on the use of SF6 gas starting in 2026.
