SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

Banjski turizam predstavlja jedan od strukturno najstabilnijih segmenata turističke privrede u državama Zapadnog Balkana, sa posebno izraženim direktnim, indirektnim i indukovanim ekonomskim efektima na lokalne ekonomije i regionalni razvoj. U Republici Srbiji, kao reprezentativnom primeru regiona, ovaj vid turizma pokazuje visok stepen otpornosti u uslovima poremećaja turističkih tokova i ekonomskih kriza. Cilj ovog rada je da, na osnovu zvaničnih statističkih podataka Republičkog zavoda za statistiku, analizira dinamiku turističkog prometa u banjskim turističkim mestima u periodu 2019–2024. godine i proceni ulogu banjskog turizma kao faktora ekonomske stabilnosti i održivog razvoja. Metodologija istraživanja obuhvata deskriptivnu i komparativnu analizu vremenskih serija dolazaka i noćenja turista, izračunavanje udela banjskog turizma u ukupnim noćenjima i poređenje prosečne dužine boravka. Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju da banjski turizam ima stabilizujuću ulogu u kriznim periodima, uz sistematski duži boravak turista u odnosu na prosek ukupnog turizma. Rad dodatno ukazuje na značaj digitalizacije turističkih usluga i primene principa cirkularne ekonomije kao ključnih razvojnih instrumenata za unapređenje konkurentnosti i dugoročne održivosti banjskih destinacija u regionu Zapadnog Balkana.
