САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

U savremenom društvu, intenzivno roditeljstvo predstavlja jednu od dominantnih koncepcija o odgajanju dece, koja podrazumeva usmerenost na dete, visoku emocionalnu uključenost, intenzivan rad i velika vremenska i finansijska ulaganja, uz oslanjanje na ekspertsko znanje i težnju da se dete zaštiti od svih potencijalnih rizika. Za roditelje pred koje se postavljaju ovakva očekivanja, situacija se dodatno usložnjava kada su u pitanju jednoroditeljske porodice, gde u najvećem broju slučajeva jedan roditelj na sebe mora preuzeti sve zadatke i odgovornosti vezane za odgajanje dece i vođenje domaćinstva. S obzirom na sve veću prisutnost jednoroditeljskih porodica, kako u svetu tako i u našoj zemlji, ovaj rad se trudi da osvetli pitanje u kojoj meri i na koji način roditelji u takvim porodičnim strukturama uspevaju da odgovore na očekivanja intenzivnog roditeljstva. Mada intenzivno roditeljstvo može imati pozitivne razvojne ishode za decu, u kontekstu jednoroditeljskih porodica ono često može postati izvor pritiska, opterećenja i krivice za roditelje.
