САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

Nastava je u velikoj meri prožeta međuljudskim odnosima i emocijama. Sa popularnošću pozitivne psihologije pozitivne emocije se u oblasti obrazovanja vide ne samo kao krajnja stanja blagostanja i sreće, već i kao sredstva za postizanje psihološkog rasta i intelektualnog razvoja. Pozitivne emocije kao što su empatija, hrabrost, optimizam i osobine emocionalne inteligencije igraju glavnu ulogu u nastavi učenja stranog jezika, a to je složen proces koji se razvija tokom vremena i podrazumeva motivaciju, zainteresovanost i optimizam. Empatija predstavlja ključnu komponentu svakog komunikativnog konteksta i stoga je neophodna u svim kontekstima u kojima ljudi komuniciraju i uče jedni od drugih. Kao pozitivna emocija, ona može da pruži neophodnu podršku onima koji uče jezik, pomažući im da prepoznaju svoje i tuđe snage i prevaziđu jezičke prepreke. Rad ima za cilj da iznese nekoliko ideja o prirodi empatije i sagleda je kao proces, koji ima važnu ulogu u motivaciji kao i u učenju i podučavanju stranog jezika. Ono što proizilazi kao zaključak jeste da je empatija u nastavi stranih jezika vrlo važan faktor koji omogućava uspostavljanje emocionalne veze kako između nastavnika i učenika, tako i između samih učenika, kao i između učenika i ciljnog jezika, što pozitivno utiče na motivaciju, a samim tim i na ishode učenja.
