ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:

Tranzicioni procesi u Republici Srbiji, koji se odvijaju proteklih četvrt veka, doveli su do višestrukih promena u privrednoj strukturi, ekonomskim performansama, ali i na tržištu rada. Posmatrano kroz osnovne indikatore, stanje na tržištu rada je unapređeno, čemu su svakako doprineli institucionalni faktori u vidu unapređenja institucija tržišta rada, zakonodavnog okvira i primene aktivne politike zapošljavanja. Istovremeno, važnu ulogu su imali i demografski faktori, koji se u radu posebno analiziraju. Promene povezane sa demografskom tranzicijom kratkoročno su pozitivno uticale na pokazatelje tržišta rada, ali prateći procesi, poput intenzivne emigracije, mogu predstavljati ograničenje dugoročnom ekonomskom razvoju i stabilnosti. U radu se, stoga, odvojeno razmatra uticaj institucionalnih i demografskih determinanti stanja na tržištu rada, sa ciljem njihovog potpunijeg sagledavanja. Takav pristup omogućava bolje razumevanje domena uticaja politike zapošljavanja i populacione politike, kao i njihove koordinacije, na osnovu čega su definisane smernice za dugoročno unapređenje stanja na tržištu rada u Republici Srbiji.
