SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
This paper presents a numerical study of the long-term behaviour of a flood protection embankment on the Tamnava River under projected climate stress. A coupled hydro-mechanical analysis was performed in Plaxis 2D, with climate boundary conditions derived from the Digital Climate Atlas of Serbia under the high-emission RCP8.5 scenario. The results indicate that the embankment remains stable under average monthly projections, demonstrating the potential of combining climate data with geotechnical modeling to assess future flood defence performance.
