SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

The Green Agenda of the European Union for the Western Balkans represents a strategic framework for the implementation of sustainable development and environmental protection in accordance with the European Green Deal. The reformed Common Agricultural Policy of the EU emphasizes sustainable green measures, food safety, and full traceability of products to protect consumers and the environment, while supporting more resilient and transparent agricultural productionIn this context, Digital Sustainable Agriculture provides numerous opportunities to improve sustainable agriculture, especially through precision agriculture, smart resource management and digitization of production processes. This paper explores the objectives of the Green Agenda in the Western Balkans, and how this application can be aligned with the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union and financed through IPARD funds. Special emphasis was placed on the role of digital transformation in agriculture as a key factor for the transition to sustainable, competitive and resilient agricultural systems.
