САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:
Pacifizam je filozofska i politička teorija koja zagovara mir i odbacivanje rata. Prin- cipijelno se suprotstavlja sukobu i nasilju kao sredstvima za rešavanje sporova. Zagovara prevazilaženje nasilništva i podržava društvenu pravdu i ljudska prava. Kroz njega se promovišu miroljubivi načini postizanja socijalnih promena i primarno se fokusira na mir i nenasilje. Može se manifestovati u različitim oblicima, od lične nenasilnosti do politič- kih pokreta koji se zalažu za razoružanje, diplomatiju i mirno rešavanje konflikata. Pa- cifizam ima dugu i bogatu istoriju, a podržavao ju je širok spektar ljudi, od verskih vođa preko filozofa do političkih aktivista (najpoznatiji pacifisti su Mahatma Gandi, Martin Luter King mlađi, Albert Ajnštajn, Ksenija Atanasijević). U savremenom svetu, pacifistič- ki pokreti suočavaju se sa izazovima poput rastuće globalne nestabilnosti, militarizacije društava i populističkih politika koje glorifikuju silu. Iako marginalizovan u globalnoj politici, pacifizam nije potpuno bez uticaja. Pokreti za razoružanje, diplomatsko rešava- nje sukoba, društvenih nepravdi i međunarodne organizacije poput UN-a i nevladinih or- ganizacija nastoje da promovišu mirovne strategije. Međutim, njihova moć je ograničena realnošću međunarodne politike.
Pacifizam je danas uglavnom marginalizovan kroz društvenu, političku i ideološku dinamiku koja pogađa pojedince i grupe koje zagovaraju nenasilje. Pacifisti su često angažovani u aktivizmu protiv savremenih oružanih sukoba, ekoloških kriza, militari- zacije i represivnih sistema. U mnogim društvima, pacifisti su često marginalizovani jer njihova uverenja mogu biti u suprotnosti s dominantnim narativima moći, militarizma i nacionalizma. Marginalizacija pacifista se odvija kroz: društveno isključivanje, političku represiju, ekonomsku diskriminaciju i medijsko ignorisanje ili omalovažavanje. Ipak, nji- hova moralna snaga i uticaj na društvene pokrete pokazuju da i dalje imaju relevantnost u određenim kontekstima.
