САЖЕТАК /ABSTRACT:
This paper is a close analysis of contemporary artistic actions related to the destroyed bridges of Novi Sad that are here for the first time collected and selected – actions by association Scenatoria, Igor Friedrich Petković, association Apsolutno, collective Led Art/ Art Clinic/Shock Commune, Dragan Živančević and Andrej Tišma. These actions are in the paper related to the concept of communica- tive memory, as described by scholars Jan Assmann, Astrid Erll, Jeffrey Olick, Harald Welzer, Jay Winter, David Manier, and William Hirst. The author concludes how these artistic actions connect people of several generations in sharing memories about recent history and bridges that exist no longer, on the sites or nearby the remains of the bridges. As such, they apply a very different approach to those by cultural memory, yet they also help remember those bridges as cultural heritage and important sites for the memory of the city.
