Сликовница у функцији развијања природног броја

САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

У раду аутори указују на значај и улогу сликовнице у раду са децом предшколског узраста и посебно скрећу пажњу на улогу коју она може остварити у развијању појма природног броја. Сликовницу посма- трају као интегративни елемент који представља полазну основу за активно- сти деце и васпитача на целокупном развоју детета, и на конкретним приме- рима указују на могућности њене примене у раду са децом предшколског узраста. На узорку васпитача (N = 448) oрганизовали су истраживање с циљем да испитају: да ли васпитачи користе сликовницу у раду на развијању појма броја; са којим циљем је користе и у ком сегменту развијања појма броја најчешће примењују. Резултати показују да васпитачи недовољно кори- сте сликовницу у раду на развијању појма броја; да је најчешће користе са циљем мотивације за учење и као полазну основу за формирање појма броја, а мање за упознавање структуре броја и упоређивање бројева. Све то указује да су у нашој пракси потенцијали сликовнице у почетном математичком образовању недовољно искоришћени.
