САЖЕТАК /ABSTRACT:

Over the past decade, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) has gained significance due to shortened product life cycles, increased market volatility, stricter regulatory requirements, and more complex supply chains. Today, new engineering paradigms based on digital technologies, the evolution of products into smart, connected systems, and increasingly complex interorganizational value chains are guiding the evolution of PLM technologies, moving them toward digitally connected and flexible PLM platforms that leverage the advantages of cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and related technologies. These emerging technological trends and initiatives are becoming key drivers of the PLM market’s expansion. The paper reports on the contemporary PLM market and technological trends and highlights the main expected development directions in PLM.
