SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

Professional networking exerts a positive influence on the development of interpersonal relationships, the professional growth of educators, and the overall quality of educational practice within preschool institutions. Beyond collegial support – recognized as a key component in the creation of learning communities – professional networking fosters continuous learning and collaborative approaches to addressing everyday challenges. Despite extensive research highlighting its benefits, a considerable number of preschool institutions and their stakeholders still do not engage in such developmental practices. The purpose of this paper is to review existing research on the (non)networking of professionals, to outline its advantages, identify potential barriers, and examine the reasons why this form of professional learning has not yet been implemented to an extent sufficient to positively shape professional learning communities. The paper aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of professional networking and to provide guidelines for the enhancement and/or development of such learning practices, thereby strengthening professional effectiveness.
