ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:
The competitiveness of the sole and mixed crops against the weeds Lactuca serriola L. and Consolida regalis Gray. in a field trial was studied. The cropping systems Winter wheat – variety „Sofru“ (sole crop); Winter wheat – variety „Solindo“ (sole crop); Winter wheat – variety „Sofru“ + winter wheat – variety „Solindo“ (mixed crop); Winter barley – variety „Odyssey“ (sole crop); Winter barley – variety „Odyssey“ + winter wheat – variety „Sofru“ (mixed crop); Winter barley – variety „Odyssey“ + winter wheat – variety „Solindo“ (mixed crop); Rye variety „Millennium“ (sole crop) were evaluated. The weed suppression was more severe in the cropping systems of barley and wheat varieties.
