SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
Informacije generisane od strane zajednice predstavljaju značajnu osnovu modela rada policije u zajednici. Ovaj model, na nivou teorije i retorike, poziva na stvaranje informacija dobijenih od strane članova zajednice koje bi, shodno cilju prikupljanja, trebalo koristiti za rešavanje lokalnih problema i određivanje prioriteta rada policije. Ovakav vid tzv. uslužne delatnosti policije u lokalnoj zajednici predstavlja vodeće pitanje i zahteva diskusiju o ulozi zajednice u identifikovanju i određivanju prioriteta, te kako se one prevode u operativne odluke i raspoređivanje policijskih resursa.
Shodno navedenom, ovaj rad istražuje konceptualne osnove radapolicije u zajednici kao ključnoj komponenti agende reforme savremene policije, modele za generisanje informacija u zajednici, ulozi zajednice i ulozi policije u lokalnoj zajednici. Završava se kritičkom diskusijom o konceptu praktičnog generinjanja i korišćenja informacija zajednice u određivanju prioriteta.
Zaključujemo da definisanje uloge zajednice i uloge policije mogu značajno ograničiti ili unaprediti proces identifikovanja i određivanja prioriteta, što zauzvrat direktno utiče na mogućnosti alokacije resursa kao vida policijske usluge u lokalnoj zajednici.
