SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

U ovom radu autor pažnju skreće na problem finansijske stabilnosti koji postaje fokus centralnih banaka s obzirom na to da su okrivljene za nestabilnost tokom poslednje globalne finansijske krize. Otvoreno je i pitanje da li centralne banke mogu biti jedine odgovorne za finansijsku nestabilnost. U cilju sprečavanja budućih kriza i iz potrebe za boljim i efikasnijim nadzorom nad finansijskim insititucijama, EU je reagovala donošenjem propisa kojima se uspostavlja drugačiji sistem nadzora i predviđaju jedinstvena pravila za i postupci za sanaciju banaka. Zato je u radu predstavljen tzv. jedinstveni mehanizam nadzora i jedinstveni mehanizam za sanaciju.
