SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

Prodor savremenih informaciono-komunikacionih tehnologija u gotovo sve sfere ljudskog života napravio je korenite promene u svetu kakav danas poznajemo, čemu je naročito doprinela pojava veštačka inteligencija, kao oblast tehnologije koja se intenzivno razvija i postaje deo naše svakodnevnice. Posledično, pred pravnu nauku je postavljen zadatak da iznađe solucije za novonastale probleme i odgovori na kontinuirano rastuće potrebe savremenog društva. No, premda je jasno da su karakteristike izazova koji se u tom smislu javljaju masovnost i kompleksnost, put ka njihovom rešavanju je neophodno otpočeti od osnova i fundamentalnih pojmova koji su inherentni predmetu opservacije. Tek nakon suštinskog razumevanja biti veštačke inteligencije je moguće sprovesti opsežnu i kvalitetnu analizu svih pojedinosti koje se u teoriji dovode u vezu sa njom, pri čemu treba imati u vidu da praksa uvek iznedri neke nove, neočekivane izazove. Stoga, autor se u radu najpre bavio pojmovnim određenjem veštačke inteligencije. Nadalje, prikazane su pojedine podele veštačke inteligencije, koncipirane spram različitih kriterijuma klasifikacije. Drugi deo rada je posvećen prezentovanju mehanizama koji veštačkoj inteligenciji omogućavaju da se razvija i dela manje ili više autonomno u odnosu na ljudski faktor. Završni deo rada je posvećen praktičnim implikacijama veštačke inteligencije, posmatranih kroz prizmu pojedinih opštedruštvenih benefita od upotrebe ovih modernih tehnologija, ali i potencijalnih rizika koji se mogu javiti, uz autorov lični osvrt na navedena pitanja.
