SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

Ovaj rad pruža istorijski pregled razvoja saslušanja osumnjičenih u okviru policijskog rada. U tekstu je naglašen razvoj različitih pristupa policijskog saslušanja osumnjičenih shodno preovlađujućim potrebama tog vremena – od ranih pristupa i taktika koji uključuje birokratski pristup, preko metoda koje uključuju znanje iz bihejvioralnih nauka kao što je etičko intervjuisanje, sve do dominantnog teksta u kome se pruža pregled korišćenja savremenih tehnika u policijskom saslušanju osumnjičenih. U radu su istaknuti neki od problema povezanih sa ovim metodama saslušanja, a posebno rizici od pribavljanja nepouzdanih informacija i potencijalnih grešaka koje mogu ugroziti kompletan krivični postupak. Pored toga, u radu je elaborirano pitanje etičke strane i naglašena važnost prava i potreba osumnjičenih, čak i prilikom obavljanja saslušanja u uslovima istraga najtežih krivičnih dela.
