SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
Problem vožnje pod uticajem alkohola je prisutan u većini savremenih društava. Čak i u zemljama sa veoma efikasnim sistemom upravljanja bezbednošću saobraćaja, visok procenat vozača upravlja vozilom pod uticajem alkohola. U Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, otkriveno je samo 1,4 miliona alkoholisanih vozača, od 159 miliona vozača koji su priznali da su upravljali vozilom pod uticajem alkohola. U Republici Srbiji se godišnje obavi više od osam miliona kretanja, kojim upravljaju vozači pod uticajem alkohola, odnosno mesečno se obavi oko 700.000 kretanja kojim upravlja vozač pod uticajem alkohola. Udeo alkoholisanih vozača u saobraćajnim nezgodama u Republici Srbiji iznosi od 1,5% kod vozača autobusa do 14,8% kod biciklista, pri čemu je približno svaki deseti vozač putničkog automobila, pod uticajem alkohola. U ovom radu su predstavljene karakteristike vozača pod uticajem alkohola i njihovu povezanost sa vožnjom pod uticajem alkohola. Posmatrane su društvene karakteristike, stavovi, norme i percepcija kontrole ponašanja, kao ključne grupe faktore povezane sa vožnjom pod uticajem alkohola. Cilj rada je bolje razumevanje okolnosti vožnje pod uticajem alkohola i smanjenje obima ovog problema, koji u Republici Srbiji raste poslednjih godina
