SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
In the face of rapid change, mounting complexity, and rising expectations for environmental and social responsibility, organisations are increasingly required to adopt flexible and forward-looking management approaches. This paper positions agile management as a strategic enabler of sustainable organisational excellence—one that integrates quality principles, fosters innovation, and enhances long-term competitiveness. Agile management, understood as a dynamic system of iterative planning, decentralised decision-making, continuous learning, and adaptive leadership, empowers teams and drives performance improvement across organisational levels. Drawing on contemporary theoretical frameworks and relevant implementation models, the paper identifies key mechanisms by which agility reshapes structures, supports innovation management, and strengthens a culture of continuous improvement. Emphasis is placed on the interplay between agile principles, quality management, and sustainability as foundational elements of strategic resilience. Practical guidelines are offered for applying agile practices across different organisational contexts, highlighting their potential to support transformation, sustainability, and excellence in a volatile and uncertain environment.
