SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
Brojni ekonomski analitičari su se bavili uticajem stranih direktnih investicija (SDI) na izvozne performanse zemalja koje svoj rast i razvoj zasnivaju upravo na inostranim ulaganjima. Uklanjanje barijera slobodnom protoku kapitala i intenzivna finansijska globalizacija doprinose da SDI podrže rast izvoza i ubrzaju privredni rast. Priliv kapitala predstavlja važan impuls u niskoakumulativnim ekonomijama, kroz proširenje osnovnog kapitala, ohrabrivanje inovacija, rast produktivnosti i generisanje novih radnih mesta u ekonomiji. Međutim, u izvoznoj strukturi Srbije pretežno su zastupljeni radno-intenzivne proizvode i proizvode zasnovane na prirodnim resursima – ruda bakra, izolovana žica i kablovi, električna energija dobijena iz obnovljivih izvora, delovi i pribor za motorna vozila, poljoprivredni proizvodi i sl. I pored činjenice da je privukla značajan stok SDI, srpska privreda nije značajnije unapredile ukupne ekonomske performanse. Kako bi ostvarila veći kumulativni priliv investicija u sektore koji doprinose dinamičnijem rastu (tehnološki intenzivnije privredne delatnosti), domaća ekonomija treba da obezbede kvalitetniju infrastrukturu, političku i institcionalnu stabilnost, podsticajniji poslovni ambijent i razvijenije finansijsko tržište.
