ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
The paper describes two solutions that are using OPC protocol to bring process data from factory floor automation systems to SQL database. OPC protocol helps engineers in getting data out of a PLC, DCS, or field device and putting into an HMI, historian, MES, or ERP system.
At the beginning, paper describes basic conceps of OPC protocol.
Furthermore, paper describe Erga QCReport application. Erga QCReport is used to store production reports and measurements profiles in SQL database and present them to operators through modern web interface.
At the end, paper deals with application of recipe management. OPC to SQL database connection has been used to handle recipe data in order to support advance grade change procedure.
