САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

Providing sufficient energy is one of the foundations of the economy and a prerequisite for a quality life. The use of renewable energy sources plays a crucial role in improving economic, social, and sustainable development. Today, understanding this importance is vital for considering the long-term survival and progress of both economies and ecosystems. Renewable energy should be environmentally acceptable, meaning that its production methods should not only aim to reduce CO2 emissions but also preserve local ecosystems and protect endangered species. The construction and installation of energy facilities and their supporting infrastructure inevitably impact the biodiversity of the surrounding areas. In planning potential sites for renewable energy projects, it is essential to assess the possible environmental impacts. The expansion of renewable energy is a key element of green economy initiatives. Although renewable energy sources (RES) have a significant positive impact on supporting sustainable development, their implementation can also affect ecosystems and biodiversity through land occupation, habitat loss, and displacement of wildlife.
