САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

The opening of the electricity market, treating electricity as a commodity, and the increasing number of distributed energy sources connected to the transmission system impose an obligation on us that the power quality, in addition to continuous supply, is very important for the end customer. Monitoring power quality parameters in the transmission network is recognized, and alongside existing power quality standards, this paper will present the method and selection of locations for the installation of new devices for continuous monitoring of power quality parameters. Criteria for selecting installation sites for power quality meters, as well as characteristics of the newly installed devices, are presented. The method of connecting and placing power quality meters onto the existing electricity measurement equipment is detailed. For data transmission from power quality meters in the transmission network, we utilize existing communication infrastructure with the implementation of a new software tool. The paper presents the implementation of the software package and the method of data transmission, i.e., the selection of communication pathways.“
