SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
The aim of this paper is to highlight the differences in the SRPS EN IEC 60383-1:2023 standard compared to its previous version from 2011. The focus is on type, routine, and sample tests for: cap and pin insulators, long rod insulators, line post insulators, and pin insulators . Additionally, the paper addresses the differences in sampling rules and procedures for sample testing. The IEC 60383-1 standard applies to porcelain and glass insulators used on high-voltage overhead lines with a frequency not exceeding 100 Hz. This standard is essential for testing as well as for quality control during the manufacturing process of the mentioned types of insulators.
