SAŽETAK:
Moderno razvijena sabraćajna i turistička infrastruktura, a pogotovo raznovrsnost ponude za odmor, zabavu, sport i rekreaciju prevazilaze specifične želje i interesovanja pojedinaca. Učestalost putovanja britanskih turista se zadržava na visokom nivou, a raznovrsnost rizika sa kojim je povezana organizacija i realizacija putovanja ponekad onemogućava uživanje u ugovorenim turističkim uslugama. Jedan od rizika putovanja u inostranstvo odnosi se i na nesolventnost pružalaca usluga, zbog čega britanski putnik može da pretrpi finansijsku štetu. Njihova finansijska zaštita sprovodi se preko šema uspostavljenih pri Upravi za civilno vazduhoplovstvo i Udruženju britanskih turističkih agencija za slučaj nesolventnosti avio-prevoznika i turističkih agencija za plaćene paket aranžmane. Mi u ovom radu razmatramo osiguranje putnika od nesolventnosti krajnjih pružalaca usluga i finansijsku zaštitu putnika za plaćanja kreditnom i platnom karticom na tržištu Velike Britanije.
