SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
Iako koreni slikovnica sežu u daleku prošlost, njihov razvoj u savremenom značenju može se pratiti od 17. veka, kada počinju da se oblikuju kao pedagoško sredstvo, prateći obrazovne, kulturne i umetničke tokove tokom narednih vekova. Cilj rada je da ispita u kojoj meri su savremena promišljanja o slikovnici usklađena sa pedagoškim principima i kriterijumima izloženim u delu Orbis Sensualium Pictus Jana Amosa Komenskog, kao i da identifikuje kriterijume koji opstaju kroz vreme. Rad se zasniva na komparativnoj analizi principâ Komenskog i njihovom odnosu prema kriterijumima savremene slikovnice. Sprovedena analiza ukazuje da mnogi principi Komenskog i dalje imaju značajno mesto u savremenoj slikovnici, ali da su transformisani u skladu sa savremenim pristupima u pedagogiji, književnosti i vizuelnoj umetnosti. Iako savremena slikovnica odstupa od teološkog pogleda na svet, ona zadržava brojne vrednosne kriterijume – koherentnu integraciju slike i teksta, vizuelnu podršku učenju, tematsku utemeljenost i vaspitni ideal kao osnov naracije.
