САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:
Empathy, as the ability to understand and perceive the experiences of others, develops both through personal experiences and through the recognition and comprehension of others’ emotional states. This capacity can be divided into two key aspects: affective empathy, which pertains to emotional resonance with others, and cognitive empathy, which involves the rational understanding of others’ perspectives and emotions. An educational process that extends beyond mere academic achievement to include the formation of students’ personalities becomes more comprehensive and effective when empathy is cultivated within educational institutions. Poetry positively correlates with the development of awareness and self-awareness, revealing the depth of human emotions. By merging the objective and subjective, poetry enables individuals to develop new mechanisms of understanding and expression, simultaneously enhancing their communication skills and emotional connections with others. Poetry reflects reality, thus creating a balance between the individual and their environment. Through the analysis of psychological and emotional aspects in poetic works, an empathetic approach is cultivated, connecting students with different sensibilities and learning styles. Moreover, this approach encourages the exchange of personal experiences between teachers and students, thereby enriching the overall educational process and strengthening the sense of community within the classroom.
