SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:

U radu se polazi od pretpostavke da serijal o Hariju Poteru predstavlja zajedničko estetsko iskustvo generacije zed u čitavom svetu, s obzirom na to da su knjige prevođene na brojne jezike, i to praktično sinhrono sa njihovim nastajanjem. Iako se mogu posmatrati i kao crossover/prekogranična dela, ove knjige obraćale su se, prevashodno, deci i mladima, pogađajući njihovo socijalno i psihološko iskustvo, te su im postale prisno-bitne.
Smatramo da ovaj serijal nije značenjski i estetski ostao samo u okviru poetike književnosti za decu i horizonta očekivanja infantilnog čitaoca, već je u fokus stavio nebrojene aspekte savremenog života i tako, po mnogo čemu, dosegao domete antropološkog romana, koji označava književno delo u najširem filozofskom (gnoseološkom i fenomenološkom), kulturnom, socijalnom i istorijskom kontekstu, pri čemu se posebna pažnja usmerava na primenu i ukrštanje mnogobrojnih i različitih književnih formi. Ova pretpostavka iziskuje kompleksno sagledavanje dela i primenu kombinovane metodološke matrice. Sa tim u vezi, u radu će biti dat detaljan pregled promišljanja različitih tema i motiva iz ovog serijala u anglosaksonskoj kritici.
Prevashodno, u radu ćemo se baviti odnosom dobra i zla u različitim domenima priče na individualnom i kolektivnom planu, s ciljem isticanja vrline kao osnovne teme dela.
