САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

У раду се полази од претпоставке да серијал о Харију Потеру представља заједничко естетско искуство генерације зед у читавом свету, с обзиром на то да су књиге превођене на бројне језике, и то практично синхроно са њиховим настајањем. Иако се могу посматрати и као crossover/прекогранична дела, ове књиге обраћале су се, превасходно, деци и младима, погађајући њихово социјално и психолошко искуство, те су им постале присно-битне.
Сматрамо да овај серијал није значењски и естетски остао само у оквиру поетике књижевности за децу и хоризонта очекивања инфантилног читаоца, већ је у фокус ставио небројене аспекте савременог живота и тако, по много чему, досегао домете антрополошког романа, који означава књижевно дело у најширем филозофском (гносеолошком и феноменолошком), културном, социјалном и историјском контексту, при чему се посебна пажња усмерава на примену и укрштање многобројних и различитих књижевних форми. Ова претпоставка изискује комплексно сагледавање дела и примену комбиноване методолошке матрице. Са тим у вези, у раду ће бити дат детаљан преглед промишљања различитих тема и мотива из овог серијала у англосаксонској критици.
Превасходно, у раду ћемо се бавити односом добра и зла у различитим доменима приче на индивидуалном и колективном плану, с циљем истицања врлине као основне теме дела.
