SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
U radu se ispituju prostori imaginacije i stvarnosti u kojima egzistira dečak Piter, glavni lik Sanjara Ijana Makjuana. Prostori imaginacije su prostori mašte i snova u kojima junak može da postane neko drugi, preuzme tuđe identitete, bude svedok svog života, dok su prostori stvarnosti određeni normama ponašanja i društvenim očekivanjima. Stvaranje zamenskih svetova u uslovima spoljašnjih pritisaka, kojima je dečak Piter izložen, omogućava da imaginacija postane sredstvo i za razumevanje ličnih emocija mladih čitalaca i njihovo osnaživanje u tom procesu. To je značajno jer savremeno dete kao pripadnik alfa generacije odrasta u uslovima izloženosti različitim (virtuelnim) prostorima koji se brzo menjaju, te se suočava i sa potencijalnim problemima krize identiteta.
