ABSTRACT / SAŽETAK:

Cilj ovog rada je da se utvrdi izraženost opšte jezičke anksioznosti i anksioznosti pri pojedinačnim jezičkim veštinama, odnosno pri čitanju, slušanju, pisanju i govoru, među studentima engleskog jezika u Srbiji, kao i da se ispita stepen doprinosa pojedinačnih oblika jezičke anksioznosti opštoj jezičkoj anksioznosti. U tu svrhu sprovedeno je istraživanje kvantitativnog tipa putem anketnog ispitivanja studenata engleskog jezika i književnosti na Filološko-umetničkom fakultetu Univerziteta u Kragujevcu. Rezultati istraživanja pokazuju da ispitanici pokazuju umerenu opštu jezičku anksioznost, sa izraženijom anksioznošću pri produktivnim veštinama u poređenju sa receptivnim. Pored toga, nalazi ukazuju na to da iako između opšte jezičke anksioznosti i anksioznosti pri čitanju, slušanju i pisanju postoji povezanost, najznačajniji izvor opšte jezičke anksioznosti predstavlja ona anksioznost koja se javlja pri usmenom izražavanju na engleskom jeziku. Stoga, pedagoške implikacije koje proizilaze iz rezultata ovog istraživanja usmerene su prvenstveno ka regulisanju ovog oblika jezičke anksioznosti, te podsticanju samopouzdanja studenata engleskog jezika tokom učešća u govornim aktivnostima.
