САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

In the paper, two-component mixtures of SF6 gas with He, N2 and CF4 gases are considered, theoretically and experimentally. The research deals with the effect of fast voltage pulses (switching, atmospheric, ultrafast) on certain gas mixtures for which insulating effects are determined. Switching impulse voltages have the form (250/2500) μs and atmospheric impulse voltages have the form (1.2/50) μs. Ultrafast impulse voltages should simulate the response in wire structures caused by nuclear explosions in the atmosphere. Highly sophisticated measuring equipment has been developed that enables reliable measurements of fast voltage forms. SF6 gas is still the most common gas insulation in high-voltage equipment. It was established that this gas has a greenhouse effect, the possibilities of replacing it with a more environmentally friendly gas are being investigated. It has been shown that it is not always possible to completely replace it with another gas, so a mixture of SF6 gas with some molecular or atomic gas is resorted to, with a positive synergistic effect, where the variation parameter is the percentage composition. Experiments are performed under controlled conditions.
