САЖЕТАК:
Cilj ovog rada je da se opišu složeni homeoretski i homeostatski mehanizmi kod mlečnih krava tokom peripartalnog perioda. U regulisanju adaptacije metabolizma tokom peripartalnog perioda, ključnu funkciju ima endokrini sistem. Homeoreza predstavlja funkcionisanje endokrinog sistema i metabolizma u uslovima kada organizam primarno mora da obezbedi određene fiziološke procese, kao što su rast ploda ili laktacija. Tada dolazi do prilagođavanja funkcije svih tkiva na novonastalu situaciju. Homeoretski hormoni (hormon rasta, prolaktin, glukokortikosteroidi, hormoni štitaste žlezde, insulin, glukagon i leptin) kod mlečnih krava u peripartalnom periodu imaju ključnu ulogu u održavanju visoke laktacije i očuvanju zdravlja krava.
