САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

In the paper, the characteristics of the optical module TSL 1401-DB, which has a built-in chip with a linear array of 128 photodetectors, were experimentally tested. The mounting of the optical module on the motherboard is described, as well as the principle of forming the output signal. The optical module is used to read the code track from the disk of the rotary position encoder. The signal read from the code track during the rotation of the encoder disk was analyzed using an oscilloscope. The advantages and disadvantages of using this optical module for reading the disk of the optical encoder are highlighted.
