ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
Thermomineral waters are groundwater characterized by elevated temperatures and high concentrations of dissolved substances like iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, calcium and magnesium, which must be partially or completely removed from the water prior to use. This paper presents a system for thermomineral water treatment based on oxidation, filtration, and sorption, enabling the removal of turbidity, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide and water hardness. The treated thermomineral water is used in the spa center of the Splendor Hotel in Vrnjačka Banja.
