SAŽETAK / ABSTRACT:
Socijalno osiguranje samozaposlenih predstavlja ključni aspekt zaštite i ekonomske sigurnosti pojedinaca koji rade za sebe. Ovaj sistem obuhvata različite oblike osiguranja, uključujući zdravstveno, penzijsko i osiguranje od nezaposlenosti, s ciljem da se obezbede osnovni socijalni benefiti. Sistem socijalnog osiguranja samozaposlenih igra takođe i vitalnu ulogu u obezbeđivanju socijalne sigurnosti, omogućavajući pojedincima da se suoče sa rizicima koji prate samozapošljavanje.
Iako je razlika u pogledu pristupu pravima po osnovu socijalnog osiguranja (opravdano) vidljiva mnoge zemlje su pristupile usvajanju sistema koji sve više ide u pravcu izjednačavanja zaposlenih i samozaposlenih kada je u pitanju pokrivenost zaštitom socijalnog osiguranja. U radu, autorka navodi primere rešenja koji su usvojeni u državama Evropske unije, osvrćući se na primere dobrih i manje povoljnih rešenja.
