САЖЕТАК / ABSTRACT:

Rad istražuje problematiku upravljanja sedimentom u vodotocima, ističući kompleksnost i nedostatke postojećih metoda. Naglašava se da ukupne koncentracije zagađujućih materija nisu dovoljne za realnu procenu štetnih efekata, s obzirom na biodostupnost i složenost sedimenta. Predstavljen je višekriterijumski model procene rizika sedimenta, integrišući FUCOM i SAW metode, primenjen na Velikom bačkom kanalu. Rezultati analize pokazuju važnost multidisciplinarnog pristupa u optimizaciji mera rukovanja sedimentom. Na osnovu modela, zaključeno je da sediment VBK ne ispoljava značajan potencijal negativnog uticaja na životnu sredinu i zdravlje ljudi, što pruža osnovu za dalje upravljanje sedimentom.
