ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:
Taking into account the findings of the assessment, the classification of the identified defects and damages, as well as the conclusions regarding the load-bearing capacity and durability of the structure of the „Novkabel“ factory hall in Novi Sad, appropriate structural and non-structural repair measures were defined. The proposed interventions are aimed at ensuring the required levels of load-bearing capacity, durability, and serviceability of the structure during its future service life. Non-structural measures include enhancing corrosion resistance through the application of a new protective concrete cover and corrosion inhibitors, as well as the repair of both superficial and more severe concrete damages and defects. Structural measures have been developed within the framework of the main repair design, encompassing works related to the adaptation and reconstruction. In light of the planned conversion of the industrial hall into a business space, a intermediate floor structure supported by vertical elements has been designed, structurally separated (expansion joints) from the existing reinforced concrete hall.
