ABSTRACT / САЖЕТАК:

Осим путем економског богатства и војне силе утицај држава се често манифестује и путем њихове меке моћи. Овај појам подразумева способност одређене државе да продукцијом културних садржаја у свету шири позитивну слику о себи и самим тим усмерава светску јавност ка прихватању вредности и норми које су складу са њеним економским, политичким и геополитичким интересима. Стварањем и пласирањем садржаја популарне културе светске силе теже да кроз меку моћ обликују идеолошке светоназоре. Основни циљ овог рада ће стога бити да се утврди како светске силе попут САД, Кине и Русије остварују меку моћ својом културном продукцијом. При томе ће бити испитан однос између приватног и јавног сектора у пројектовању меке моћи великих сила. Посебна пажња ће бити посвећена Јапану, Јужној Кореји и Индији с обзиром на то да су у питању државе које одликује развијена популарна култура праћена значајним глобалним утицајем. Сви ови примери биће употребљени и при разматрању питања да ли су сви облици меке моћи настали као резултат државног пројекта или се пак могу развити и спонтаном тржишном културном продукцијом. На самом крају рада биће испитан доминантан облик популарне културе у Србији и степен развијености меке моћи ове државе.
